“Yoga therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga” (IAYT)

My yoga therapy sessions are unique to each individual and the skills that I teach you in body-based awareness. Sessions begin with a thorough assessment of what you bring to the session, your intention and an assessment of your body.  I combine the use of therapeutic restorative yoga, guided meditation, and therapeutic movement, along with the evidenced-based practice of Mindful Awareness Body-Based Therapy (MABT) a practice that builds the skills of Interoceptive Awareness, an essential skill to build in body discovery, healing trauma and eating disorder recovery as well as for emotional regulation and over all well-being.

This form of yoga therapy has been shown to be helpful for the following issues:

  • Body image/eating disorders
  • Trauma
  • Pain management
  • Chronic illness/conditions

There is no yoga experience necessary for these sessions.

The first session is 2 hours and $175. Sessions thereafter are 90 min. $150.
