An 8-Week Course in Self-Kindness, Acceptance, & Mindfulness

with Ann Saffi Biasetti

Self-compassion expands our capacity to soothe and heal our own pain and the pain of another. “A moment of self-compassion can change your entire day. A string of such moments can change the course of your life.” – Christopher Germer

The MSC program is an empirically supported program founded by researcher, Kristen Neff and psychologist, Christopher Germer. The program is designed to cultivate the skills of building self-compassion. Core principles and practices taught will enable you to respond to difficult moments with kindness, care, and understanding, building resiliency and inner strength.

Course Testimonials

“I wanted to let you know how each day I feel more grounded, lighter, and in
the present moment than I did before the Mindful Self Compassion class. It
is amazing all the “stuff” I have held onto that really wasn’t serving me,
actually causing more physical and emotional difficulties within my body
that didn’t need to be there.” -CR

“Setting aside the time each week to participate in this class was the first step in
my self compassion journey…one that I am truly grateful to be on.” -SS

“Ann is a very gentle, caring, and insightful teacher – a very compassionate teacher
of self-compassion! This kind of training can be hard for men, who feel they are
expected to give emotional difficulties the cold shoulder. The training explored a
number of tools that helped me to recognize and accept difficult feelings – in
myself and others – and to enjoy the liberating adventure of sharing my deep dark
secrets with others in the class. I see that further practice really might make me
more resilient, more compassionate, and more joyful.” -RF
